Guerna Vincent is an accomplished educator and healthcare professional with more than a decade of experience serving individuals and families throughout South Florida. As the President of CMS Training Institute, she is passionate about empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to build successful careers in the healthcare industry.
Mrs. Vincent holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and is a Florida Professionally Certified Teacher. Throughout her education career, she has taught Middle School Social Sciences, Middle School Science, and Adult ESOL, while also dedicating many years to working with students with special needs. Her diverse teaching background has equipped her with the ability to connect with learners of all ages and learning styles.
Her healthcare career began in 2011 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and she has since gained extensive hands-on experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and private home care. She also completed the HCA Star Tech Program, further expanding her clinical experience in the hospital environment.
In addition to maintaining an active Florida CNA License, Mrs. Vincent is certified in Phlebotomy and has completed significant coursework in a Registered Nursing program. Although the nursing program was not completed due to the school’s closure, the advanced
training further strengthened her clinical knowledge and commitment to excellence in patient care.
Dedicated to serving the diverse communities of South Florida, Mrs. Vincent is fluent in English, Haitian Creole, Spanish, and French. For more than ten years, she has worked closely with minority communities, helping individuals gain access to educational opportunities that lead to meaningful and rewarding healthcare careers.
